Secret Vegas Lives by Laura Breck Delivers an Emotional Roller Coaster

Secret Vegas Lives is a steamy romance between “psychologist to the stars,” Valerie Kane, and the reclusive, gritty novelist, Antonio Daniato.  When both become involved in a blackmail plot, they team together to find the culprit despite continued distrust over each others’ motives.  Unfortunately, their strong sexual attraction leads them to developing feelings that are unwelcome on many levels.

For Valerie, bad boy Antonio is all the passion she’s been missing from the men in her life, but his anger issues and private demons make her question his ability to have a lasting relationship.   For Antonio, getting past Valerie’s upper class family and her inexperienced sexual passion is beginning to mean too much to him.  Then, just as he believes he can give-up his secret life for her, she accuses him of plotting the blackmail.

Forgiving each other, admitting they love each other, and finding the blackmailer become the easy part.  Accidental injuries and Valerie’s unrelenting sister push Antonio into the forbidden zone, but Valerie conquers all obstacles until she discovers his secret life. Now, she is forced into giving Antonio an ultimatum with nothing but the hope that he will choose her in the end.

Laura Breck delivers an emotional roller coaster with this romance.  Antonio is a sympathetic and very hot hero that the reader can’t help but root for, and Valerie is a great combination of strength and insecurities.  The happily ever after of this novel is wholly satisfying and deliciously sexy.
